Breast cancer has changed over the past 30 years, and so have we.

On Mother’s Day, as part of our Race to Empower™ and Walk to Empower™ events held across the country, we formally announced that our new name is Breast Cancer Network of Strength™. This exciting change kicks off our 30th Anniversary year. While our name has changed, our mission remains the same -- to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces breast cancer alone.

Thank You for Your Dedication to the 2008 Walk to Empower! On Mother's Day, Springfield was hit with a storm but that didn't stop our loyal supporters from walking! We had a great turn out and despite the unpleasant weather everyone enjoyed the stormy morning. Thank you for joining us in the rain! The fundraising deadline has been pushed back! We have one more week to get closer to our goal. Please continue to add to your teams fundraising until Friday June 27th and help more our your team members qualify for additional prizes!
